Q: What is ANPR and how does it work?

A: ANPR stands for Automatic Number Plate Recognition, and is a streamlined, efficient solution to parking management. Our cameras capture registration plates as they enter & exit a car park, and checks the duration of each stay, and if the car has broken the parking regulations.

Q: How much will it cost me to install ANPR on my site?

A: All of our services are completely fully funded, including installation, bespoke signage and ongoing maintenance of the ANPR cameras. This makes NPC a cost effective solution, with hassle-free parking management.

Q: How much electricity do ANPR cameras use?

A: ANPR cameras are highly efficient, running on just 12 volts of power. They can also be powered by solar panels for an eco-friendly solution in suitable locations. This makes ANPR both cost effective and sustainable, and tailored to the specific needs of each car park.

Q: How does ANPR know when a car is on the safelist or has an e-permit?

A: With our innovative e-permit system, we provide a database of approved vehicles that is imported into our back office portal, or we can provide a client login where vehicles can can be added or removed from the safelist as required. We can also provide a kiosk for customers to enter their own registration plate to the system.

Q: What else is included with the ANPR service?

A: On top of fully funded installation and signage, we provide 24/7 customer support, with a dedicated account manager. ANPR can also be integrated with our warden patrols for an effective hybrid service.

Q: How accurate are the ANPR cameras?

A: Our cameras have near perfect accuracy in plate detection, even working in poor lighting and bad weather conditions, and with 99% uptime. The cameras can even capture at night through infrared technology. We ensure that we use the latest cameras, to provide highly effective enforcement.
