FAQ

Self Ticketing FAQs

Q: What is the self ticketing service and how does it work?

A: Users can enforce their own car park by issuing Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) through our free mobile app, and upon setup, we will provide custom signage with clear regulations free of charge. To use the service, the user simply has to upload evidence of a parking violation on their site, and we will handle the rest.

Q: Is the self ticketing app easy to use?

A: The app is designed for simplicity and ease of use. Users need only a few taps to upload the images and details, and the app will automatically apply a time and date stamp. Our team will also be on hand for support whenever needed.

Q: What photographs do I need to take?

A: Users are required to upload 3 images, which can be taken straight from their smartphone. These images will need to include the offending vehicle, the signage and the car’s dashboard, to show if they have a permit. Our team will then review the images, and notify you if they are correct.

Q: How do I know if my car park is suitable for self ticketing?

A: Self ticketing is ideal for smaller sites including residential, retail and hospitality sectors. This gives the user the flexibility to take enforcement action when needed, and deter motorists from parking on their land unlawfully. This enables their spaces to be clear and accessible for staff, residents and customers.

Q: Do I have to issue the Parking Charge Notices myself?

A: After submitting the parking violation through the app, We handle the entire PCN process. Our team will process the request, and then post the PCN to the offender. We also have an appeals process if any motorist wants to challenge their PCN.

Q: What if I accidentally ticket someone with a valid E-permit?

A: If a vehicle is registered through the online portal or on our whitelist, the user will be notified when entering the registration plate on the app. This ensures that valid vehicles can not receive a parking charge notice. The app is 100% discreet and anonymous, and the user runs no risk of ticketing a motorist incorrectly.
